How This Workshop Is Taught

Learning is a fundamental aspect of any safety program. Traditional approaches to safety have only taken us so far. It’s time for new thinking to get us to then next level in our approach to safety. In many cases, organizations only learn about safety in response to incidents or related to what they want to avoid. False assumptions (such as?) have become the norm bringing forth the need for new distinctions.

Together this team represents practical experience with safety in domains spanning from power generation to the medical industry; with expertise in implementation including investigation using Safety-II principles, Safety-II tie-in with Resilience Engineering, how the role of Safety Professionals changes with a Safety-II approach and more.
